Introduction
OAS1000 is a high high level alarm system which is required by IMO resolutions A686(17)，U.S.A coast guard 46 CFR 39-7, and CCS rules for Classification of Sea-going Ships (2005) Chapter 29, Part 5 of Vapor Control Systems. OAS1000 monitors high high level, and gives visual and audible alarms to the bridge when abnormal events occur. ?
OAS1000 is independent of a high level alarm system and a level measurement system.
OAS1000 gives a fault alarm if there exists a loss of power, or a sensor cirsuit failure.
OAS1000 checks sensor and alarm circuit status automatically.
Sensors of OAS1000 have two types: the float type sensor and the ultrasonic sensor.
Operating Methods
The sensor on the deck transmits alarm signal output to control box on the bridge. A display and alert unit in the control box displays real-time status of each channel, and initiates visual and audible alarms accordingly.
